Senior Baseball Sportait/Portrait

This photo is from a recent senior shoot for a student at Brazosport Christian School (BCS). Shooting portraits of athletes or sportraits provide a great opportunity to use light to bring out character in your subject.  This photo was taken in studio with a D300s, Tamron 28-70mm 2.8 lens and a SB-900 off camera. Very minor adjustments were made using Photoshop CS4 and Nik Software Color Efex Pro.

Runners Silhouette Portrait Surfside Beach, Texas

My husband loves the beach and enjoys going to watch the sunrise over the water.  It's a great time for beach photography.  I took this photo with my Nikon D300s and a 18-55mm lens.  I gave the colors a little boost with Photoshop CS4 and added a little vignetting with Nik Software Color Efex Pro.

Family Portrait Surfside Beach (Texas)

I had dreams of taking this shot sweet shot.  During spring break the dream came true, we did this beach shoot for a group of 7 cousins in Surfside, Texas (near Lake Jackson in Brazoria County). This shot was taken using a Nikon D300s with the Nikon/NIkkor 70-200mm 2.8 VR lens and one SB-900 Flash/Speedlight off camera.
